The Ivy League tale….

Ivy League is often synonymous with a markedly higher standard of education and excellence. Its a matter of scholarly pride to be associated with any of the Ivy league schools – Brown University, Columbia University, Yale University, Princeton University, Harvard University, Cornell University, Dartmouth University and University of Pennsylvania.

But, not many of us would have guessed  a botanical connection with the ‘Ivy’ tag in these select group of institutions. Well, lets spring the cat out of the bag – This branding of excellence owes its name to the Ivy creeping over the walls of these hallowed institutions for over 100 years.
