Baloney is a sausage!

That is true – Baloney has its origin in the city of Bologna in Italy. Sure enough, the taste of Baloney betrays the ingredients in it – either beef or pork – and do American’s like Baloney? absolutely…I mean the sausage.

But, open up a mediocre dictionary and – baloney stands for falsehood – something which is not right or pure absurd. So, a simple extrapolation of the sausage indicates that the taste of Baloney, which does not reflect its ingredients, is responsible for its connotation.

And who uses ‘baloney’ most often – You guessed it right – The American politicians.
