Profile: A resident of Milan, Italy, Zia is a sworn Eco-conservationist. She consuls industries and business owners on how to preserve nature and also how to save energy and money through simple practices. Zia is a private Energy consultant to some of the leading Fortune 500 firms. Although Mia hails from Milan, she resides and practices in New York. Her personal goal is to decrease the Carbon footprint of every building in Manhattan by 60%. Zia is a graduate in Environmental sciences and teaches high school students on weekends. She is currently working with a couple of NGOs in South Asia to create awareness about water conservation and distribution – so that the drought season and floods can be tackled with a few basic adjustments.
